MEET THE TEAM
Tyler Pharr
Co-Founder & Creative Director
Tyler Pharr is a Brooklyn based fashion writer, cultural historian, curator, and entrepreneur. Graduating with a Masters of Art in Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design, she honed her entrepreneurial spirit as an Impact Entreneurship Fellow to develop vision health and accessories brand, ĖNDIRĖ Eyewear.
She faced challenges finding glasses that complemented her low nose bridge and eclectic sense of style as a child, and co-crafted ĖNDIRĖ as an up-and-coming alternative for Black eyewear users seeking personalized solutions for their facial features.
As an artist, Tyler continues to capture the essence of expression across industries through immersive creative curation and fashion storytelling; ensuring that her impact extends far beyond the boundaries of any one discipline.
Tolu Ojo
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Tolu Ojo is a Long Island Native and Brooklyn Transplant who has always had a desire to find her niche between creativity, management, and innovation. From her early years in production management to obtaining her master's degree in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship from NYU Tandon, she spent her years acquiring and honing her skills to improve her leadership and management abilities.
In getting connected with Tyler, she was ready to get involved in pushing Endire Eyewear from the idea phase to a fully realized eyewear brand prioritizing long-term eyewear users who have had to settle for frames that worked, kind of. As a long-term eyewear user, she is looking forward to the growth of ĖNDIRĖ Eyewear community in Brooklyn and beyond!
Our Story
Tyler was an Impact Entrepreneurship Fellow at Parsons School of Design at the New School. Fueled by her passion for fashion and social entrepreneurship, she decided to begin the journey to develop an eyewear brand that would break the boundaries of the eyewear industry and offer well-fitting and stylish eyewear to black, full-time eyewear users. She worked on expanding her team, and in reaching out to metropolitan universities of Manhattan, Tyler met an equally passionate and business-focused student, Tolu, at NYU.
Tolu was a Masters Candidate of Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. She received an email with an incredible opportunity to work on a social venture aiming to revitalize the eyewear industry. With her experience in project management and a hunger to apply her newly acquired entrepreneurship skills, she reached out to Tyler.
Since then, the two have collaborated to drive the development of ĖNDIRĖ Eyewear forward. Together, they are excited for the future of eyewear with ĖNDIRĖ on the shelf!
